Epithelial tissue- Skin is made of epithelial tissue and it is one of the four major tissue types in the body. It acts as an interface between the body and the outside world.

Long-day plant- A long-day plant is one that needs more than six hours of sun per day. One example of this is the carnation.

Organisms of different kingdoms-

Fungi- This kingdom includes microorganisms like mold and also mushrooms.

Plantae- This kingdom includes all plants. There are about 350,000 species.

Animalia- This kingdom is for the animals. They are mostly multicellular organisms.

Basidiomycete- The basidiomycota phyla in the Fungi Kingdom. One the most familiar basidiomycetes is the mushroom.

Different Biomes-

Freshwater- Wetlands are a freshwater biome. The wetlands have the highest species diversity of all the biomes.

Grassland- In grassland biomes, there are more grass and flowers than trees and shrubs.

Forest- About one-third of the world's land area is filled with forests. They are filled with trees.

Organisms in different animal phyla-

Phylum Cnidaria- Cnidaria means "stinging nettle." The animals in this phylum all have stinging cells. Jellyfish are in this phylum.

Phylum Arthropoda- This phylum consists of animals that are invertebrates and have an exoskeleton. Insects, and arachnids are in this phylum.

Phylum Chordata- This phylum includes those animals with backbones and some others. Members of this phylum are similar in that they all have a hollow dorsal nervous chord, notochord, pharyngeal slits, endostyle and post-anal tail.

Organisms in different plant divisions-

Bryophyta- This division is for the mosses. They grow in close bunches in damp or shady places.

Pteridophyta- This division consists of ferns.

Magnoliophyta - This division consists of the flowering plants. Some common characteristics of this division are flowers, stamens, and endosperms.

Pinophyta- This division consists of the conifers which are cone-bearing seed plants with vascular tissue.

  1. Christina!

Looking good. Some things I would like to see for next time:
    1. Please expand your definitions. Shoot for three to four sentences.
    2. Please do not use an image more than once.

    Keep up the great work!!!
